Congratulations Canada on winning the gold medals in Women's and Men's Olympic Hockey! The fair play exhibited from all teams in the tournament was really something.

This Thursday we will be at Hendervale Equestrian Horse Show for the first time and are really looking forward to it. This Thanksgiving Holiday weekend we will be photographing the Terry Terrier International Hockey tournament in Mississauga. This is also a new tournament for us and should provide for great action and excitement.

In the month of October we look forward to being at the Mississauga Terry Terrier International Hockey Tournament during Thanksgiving; then we will be in Brampton for the Brampton Youth Hockey Tournament; the 3^rd weekend of October we will be in North Bay and the 4^th weekend we will be in the Sudbury area(most likely).

I’m not certain how much I will be able to get posted in the next month but will try to do as much as time permits.

The Oakville CanAm - Adam Fedoruk Memorial Little League Baseball Tournament photos are now posted. There are no photos from the games that were played at High Park.

Also, because my generator was stolen the Friday night(police may actually have found the culprit), I wasn't able to set up the computers & printer at Postridge Park (also no electricity there - yet), hence, the quickly played Championship game caught me missing the action but I was able to get the Adam Fedoruk trophy presentation pictures and team pictures.

This Saturday will be a new event for us - Girl's Field Hockey, so we are looking forward to it very much. This is the Central Region Championships and are being played at Sunnybrook Park in Toronto.

The State of Michigan Little League Baseball Championships are now posted. This was an extremely well played bunch of games and it was a real pleasure to do the photography for all the teams.
This weekend we will be at the Oakville Can Am Baseball Tournament. Teams from Michigan, Ontario, New York and Pennsylvania will all be here. We are hoping to get the Winter Walter Gretzky hockey tournament up next and then the Ontario Provincial Little League Championships posted.

Towards the end of August, Spectrum will be photographing something entirely different. Naval exercises right here in the Burlington Bay. Should be extremely interesting.

Our apologies to all the many people waiting to see their tournament’s pictures from as far back as the winter. It’s a growing pain for Spectrum Imaging Services and we are working towards making things more efficient.

PreBooking of tournaments is beginning already for the winter sesaon. If you are interested in having us come out to a fall or winter tournament please give us a call as soon as you can so that we can block that weekend off. This is one of those sooner rather than later scenarios.

Our next tournament is in Niagara Falls next weekend. The Maple Leaf Cup for Street Hockey. Should be a real blast with quite a few American teams visiting.

The 24 Hour Chico-Gears Summer Solstice Mountain Bike Race is now finally posted. We had a bit of freak thinking that the website name was gone. It's a VERY long story. But it is all back now.

Apologies to the April, St Catharines Spartan's hockey tournament participants. I said that they would be posted by two Friday's ago but we ran into the aforementioned problem which just got remedied this evening. The mountain bike race was quick to link whereas, your tournament is 20x greater. So I did the little one first and will do the St Kitts this Monday.

This weekend we are photographing an Apaloosa Horse show at Black's Equine Centre. This is a new event for us again. The weekend following is a very big Arabian Horse show and the 3rd week of June we are very happy to be returning to Kitchener-Waterloo lacrosse at McCormick twin pads for the 2nd straight year to photograph their newly designated memorial tournament.

Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain....... but the Waterloo Ghosts Fastball tournament games that were played were fun to photograph especially the big splash photo at 2nd base in the last game at Lower Hillside (thanks to #8 Waterloo Novice for the big extra effort and not worrying about getting more soaked!).

This weekend(Thursday - Saturday) coming up we are very excited to be the host onsite digital photographic & printing company for the 2001 OFSAA High School Track and Field Championships at Etobicoke's Centennial Stadium. Well ten days turned out to be 8 weeks! Sorry about that folks. I just posted the very last event that I did.
This was Go Karting from this past Tuesday out at Merritville Speedway near Welland. It has got me warmed up again to start going back to the February tournaments (where I last left off) and to begin the long road of catching up. Bear with me for a little while longer and all those winter tournaments will appear. I'm going to work from both ends and finish in the middle.

Finally, I have found the time to put up the Hamilton St. Columba Girl's CYO basketball games (inc the semi final and championship games, - Please refer to the December 6th, 2000 date) that I have had on disk for quite some time. These were some special games that I took pictures at and they've just been put on the back burner until now. But now they are up and like all the other tournament pictures, they will remain up as long as ...well...forever, I guess.
Also, now up are all the Burlington Burbear Ringette pictures from late January.

This weekend we will be stationed at Monsignor Doyle Secondary School in Cambridge for the Centaurs Classic Basketball tournament.

The London Basketball tournament from way, way back in December in the old millenium is now posted!
Also, the 36th annual Parkdale - Temiskaming Friends Hockey Tournament is now posted also. This is a very special and neat tournament in the manner in which it came about and that it has continued to this day after 36 years. It remains to this day a tournament between two arenas and their local communities. An exact picture of how tournament's started in the first place. The second part of the tournament is taking place right about now in Temiskaming.

Still to to be posted are: Burlington Burbear Ringette, Pickering Ringette, Hamilton Transway Basketball,
CYO Girls basketball from December and Jordan Figure Skating test days.

This weekend we will be in Jordan for their ringette tournament; the following weekend we will be in Cambridge for their girl's basketball tournament. The first weekend of March will kick off a very busy month of hockey, hockey and more hockey. We will be covering all the action at Brantford's 20th Annual Walter Gretzky Girl's Hockey Tournament.

Spring season is coming fast and look for us at lacrosse, go-karting, roller hockey, baseball and golf amongst other sports.

This weekend we are in Cambrdige for the Cambridge Ringette Tournament. The following weekend ( the 13th and 14th) we will be in Hamilton for the prestigious Silver Fox Boys High School Basketball Tournament. The weekend after that , we will be in Burlington for their ringette tournament.

It looks promising that we will be starting Go Kart coverage amongst other spring / summer sports in the spring so watch out for that!

Well it isn't Monday , it's Wednesday. Not too bad. Just too many tournaments I guess:) . All Sunday London Ringette game images from Nov 17th weekend are now posted. The next tournament that will be posted is the Elma Logan Girls Hockey tournament from the Nov 24th weekend. These should be up by this Friday(December 8th) evening. Then come the St Catharines Ringette tournament pictures from this past weekend.
Then Burlington Figure Skating and St. Columba grade school CYO girls basketball playoff action. Great effort tonite to all the participants in the final game.

This Saturday we will be at the Monkton Tyke Boy's hockey tournament as well as taking pictures during the Hamilton Women's Hockey League regular season games on Sunday. The following weekend( Dec. 16th and 17th) , we will be in London for the Forest City Ramblers basketball tournament.

This last weekend's Elma Logan Girl's Hockey Tournament will be posted but not until next week. Probably by Wednesday or Thursday.

All of these tournaments were terrific. We certainly love travelling to the other areas in Ontario and meeting new people. We hope to continue doing this so if there are any tournament organizer's out there that know they would like to have onsite digital action photography but thought they may be too far from town or too small a tournament please do not hesitate to contact us. Small tournaments are
also very nice to do from our standpoint.

This weekend will be another ringette tournament and then it's figure skating during the following week.

Sunday's Oakville Indoor Soccer photos are now posted also. Whew, this has been a busy period and it's just getting started! We are booked solid until the end of January now with weekend events with just a few weekends after that free until the end of April when the spring and summer seasons start again. As they say, time flies when you're having fun. Again, this weekend we are very pleased to be starting our tennis coverage at the Cedar Springs Raquet Club in Burlington. Stay tuned for those photos.

All OFSAA photos are now posted. There is one folder for each race with approximately 200 images in each folder. It may take a minute to upload a race folder into your computer, that's not too bad. You can get a good idea of what kind of race each race was by starting at the beginning and forwarding thru all the images, like a mini video. This weekend we are photographing the Ace Tennis tournament from Cedar Springs Racquet Club in Burlington. The following weekend, will find us photographing a ringette tournament in London.

Our first images are from just a two hour visit to the Bayfront and Pier 4 parks. A bit of a bonus, there are some very nice images of a rare to this area, Brant Goose. As time permits, it is our distinct goal to visit and photograph all the diverse areas of Hamilton and in as many different conditions as possible and post them so that tourists, visitors and guests to our city as well as hometown folks can whenever they wish have a look and perhaps decide to go visit that particular area as well as better appreciate what a beautiful geographic region we are fortunate to live in. Soon, we will incorporate a map that illustrates where each photo session is actually located.

Of course, prints of any of the images are available as are the digital files for a reasonable price, except perhaps a few:)

The October 15th Hunter Jumper Show from Black's Equine Centre are now posted.
There are 9 parts to it and are all chronological in order. We will be at next Sunday's final Hunter Jumper show as well and it ought to be a very good turnout as it is the last show of the year at Blacks.

Spectrum will be turning it's attention to a very wide assortment of sports this winter season. Indoor soccer and tennis , ringette, hockey, basketball, OFSAA cross country, figure skating and last but not least, gymnastics. Then it will already be spring, just like that!

Last Saturday's Fall Classic Saddlebred Horse Championships are now posted. We look forward to being at this Sunday's Hunter / Jumper Show also hosted by Black's Equine Centre in Glanford. Tomorrow, Friday we will be down in Port Dover for the fabulous Friday, October the 13th , Full Moon Motorcycle Extravaganza. Be sure to check out the images from this event. Ontario Rodeo Championship images are now posted as well as two days of horse jumping all from Black's Equine Centre just minutes south of Hamilton. There was a bit of a delay in posting these images These events featuring horses ranging from beautiful and graceful show jumping to the explosive and dangerous broncs and bulls were the first of their kind for Spectrum to photograph as we continue to expand our own repertoire and experiences in the world of digital action photography. Look for one of our pictures on the latest cover of THE RIDER newspaper. Hope you enjoy them. It was quite something to be that close to the extreme action. Just what we love.

The Tiger Woods' pictures from the Canadian Open are also posted. Look under the September 10th date for these.

The last but certainly not least baseball tournament of the year for District 1. The Erindale 11 year old's tournament from last weekend is now posted. What a great season it has been! This was Spectrum's first summer in business and it was particularily satisfying being able to cover so much of District 1 play this summer. Baseball is a great team sport. Next year, we hope to be just as much a part because my instincts tell me that the competition is getting fiercer and the pictures will be even better with a year under our belt. Congratulations to the 11 year old Oakville team for winning the tournament and also to all the other teams for pushing Oakville to the limit. That's what makes teams and leagues go far. As well, another big congratulations to the High Park 12 year old team for showing that District 1 competes at the world level and that we can win the whole thing with some luck. I'd like to thank the league and all the umpires for letting us get in close to take our pictures. That was a huge help.

Now we are into the indoor season. Whew, just in time as our gazebo blew apart. Thanks to my assistant, Hector for holding the gazebo down for those hours!:)

They are from his play on the 11th hole and taken from the green on the final day. Exclusive pictures that no one would have! Look for them on the Sunday, September 10th date.

Last weekend's Stoney Creek Little League 9 and 10 year old Baseball tournament games are now posted. Congratulations to the champions, the BrantWent team as well as to the host team for making it to the final!

This weekend we continue our baseball series, this time in Erindale for their league championships.

All of last weekend's Brampton Girl's Soccer games are now online!
Out of the 40-45 games we missed taking pictures at only 3 or 4 games(thanks to the generator:)).We hope that there are pictures for almost everyone to enjoy.

On Saturday, September 9th, Spectrum will be set up at the Erindale
Little League stadium for their season championship games. September 12th, we will be photographing the Dofasco Duffers Golf Tournament played at the Old Knollwood course in Ancaster. This Labour Day weekend , of course , we will be attending the Stoney Creek 10 year old's baseball tournament.

A small note, we have new internet providers and believe that the stability and reliability issues that were nagging us are now just memories.We still need to upload some of our past events. This will occur over the next week. Thank you for your patience.

The Oakville Baseball tournament from this past weekend is now posted. We did not cover all games but those of you who now about our site most likely had their sons playing in the games we covered. We've had to take off all the ICG games for now. We will put up the Opening Ceremonies again for a period of a few days, hopefully by tomorrow. We also have taken off all the Niagara Falls skating images.

Yeah! Finally have been able to link all the Brampton lacrosse images from both rinks! For some reason the first game from Rink 2 doesn't want to cooperate but the rest of the Rink 1 & 2 games are accessible. There is a password for this event, please email us to receive it. It's no big deal. Sorry for the delay. Now to finish the OTFA OOC Saturday and Sunday images. Webmaster has been gone for the last week, so I've learned alot in this time.

We've taken most of the ICG events (except basketball) off for disk space. If you would like to see a particular event please contact us as we always will have them in our archives.

This upcoming weekend we are happy to be in Oakville for the 12 year old Little League Baseball tournament involving teams from New York State and Ottawa as well as local area teams. We have removed from the web the Dundas 9 year old Baseball tournament as well as the Waterloo Lacrosse tournament from early July and late June, respectively. We, of course , keep all images in our archives so if anyone would like to see them , we can arrange a viewing.
